We took a visit to Lincoln to offer our mobile ECU remap on this Kuga 2.0 TDCi. No slouch already at 180 BHP, the owner was a motorcycle rider who wanted to feel a bit more excitement in his car. The Kuga is equipped with a Delphi DCM3.5 ECU and we are able to tune them through the diagnostic port. On this model we used our Genuine CMD Flash tool Made in Switzerland to read and write the ECU Data. It’s super stable and very reliable. We only ever use Original manufacturer tuning tools. We used our MXS25 Battery support unit to keep a constant 13.5 volts to the ECU as low power can brick the ECU rendering the car in a non start situation. We take no chances where safety is concerned. After tuning, which took less than 90 minutes we carried out our usual comprehensive checks and a test drive. Another delighted customer.
